Norway Visa- Guide

What is a Norway Visa?

For individuals not from Schengen countries or those without visa exemption agreements with Norway, a permit known as the Norway visa is necessary for entry. Available in multiple categories, including single-entry, double-entry, or multiple-entries, this visa is required for visitors from India, except for official and diplomatic passport holders.

How to Apply for Norway Visa?

Applying for a Norway visa from India is an online process with offline submission at a Visa Application Center (VAC). Here’s a step-by-step guide:

1. Collect all required documents specific to your visa type.
2. Visit the online portal for Norway visa application and create an account.
3. Fill out the Norway Schengen visa application form online.
4. Pay the fees online upon submission.
5. Upon successful submission, receive a confirmation cover letter via email and print it.
6. Book an appointment at a VAC for application submission.
7. Attend the appointment at the VAC with the cover letter, documents, and submit biometrics.
8. For C visa applicants, complete a fully filled out C category questionnaire.

Biometrics submitted for a Schengen permit in the past 5 years do not require resubmission. Ensure submission of genuine documents and accurate information to avoid visa rejection.
